As you'll be aware by now, GT7 has engine swaps! Yay! 🎉
The feature works by either gifting you an engine through a roulette ticket (rare in general tickets, some engine-specific tickets are available) or as expensive buyable items through the engine swap facility in GT Auto. Only some cars can...

Nissan Silvia Q's (S13) '88 – S7 BRZ (Subaru BRZ Drift) The BRZ LS7 is the most powerful engine you can swap, at the time of writing, and it goes in the Nissan Silvia of all things. This gives you a ridiculous 1200+bhp in an 80s car.
The fastest car in Gran Turismo 7 is the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X VGT, and it's not even close. The ultimate vision of the US concept car has an incredible 2,586hp (over 700hp more than the Jaguar!). Thanks to its low weight of just 749 kg, the acceleration and top speed of the futuristic race car are beyond comprehension.
The SRT Tomahawk X VGT is the fastest car in Gran Turismo 7 - and by a comfortable margin too. As far as concepts go, they really don't come much better. This freak of physics looks absolutely stunning, but where it really shines is under the hood.
Senna's 1988 championship car. The August update for Gran Turismo 7 is now available, adding a legendary F1 car. The McLaren MP4/4 marked the end of the Turbo era and was driven by Ayrton Senna in 1988 to win the drivers' championship.
The 2JZ-GTE's already proven itself worthy of belting out more than 2,000hp. You'll need more than a 64mm turbo to get anywhere close, though, but it's less complicated than you think. Start with something in the 72mm range, and plan on bulking up the bottom end with forged pistons and rods as well as billet main caps.
Here you will find all the engines that you own plus any extra tuning parts you may have also won. You can see how many of each engine you have as well. Strangely the engines do have a recommended retail value but at present, there is no way to sell them.
The Clutch is enabled when you depress the Clutch Pedal in a race. Once you do you MUST USE IT. However, you can DISABLE it by Paddle Shifting. Up Shifting on all H-Pattern Style Transmissions feels faster if you do use the clutch, but maybe that's all in my head.
The only way at present to acquire engines in Gran Turismo 7 is through roulette tickets. These can be won by doing the daily workout where you drive 26.219 miles, and you are rewarded with a random ticket that can be up to six stars in value. The higher the stars, the better the prize.
