They’re the imprint of generations of bartenders honing the craft of coming up with stupid names so that they can giggle at your expense when you read the crusty blackboard and say, “What goes inside of a Red Headed slu*t Shot?!? You know what, we’ll have 3, please!”.
Enjoy and Salud!
Yes, you’ve read it right!
There’s a very fun and delicious shot called the Red Headed slu*t.
And it’s by far one of the mostfantastic shotsthat we’ve tried so far!
Haven’t you ever been to a bar with a long co*cktail list with a few funny and quite laughable-named drinks in it?
(Think about the good old classic “Sex on the Beach”!)
It’s the perfect excuse to order a few drinks with a silly name, have a good laugh with your friends, and get the party going!
And this is absolutely the case with this shot.
The Red Headed slu*t Shot is also known as “slu*tty Red Head”, “Ginger Bitch” and “Lindsay Lohan”.
No clue why, but probably because it’s red, sexy, and very hot.
So handle with precaution, since it’s quite strong due to the presence of Jägermeister. You’ve been warned!
Its origins are not clear, but it is a popular drink choice in the States, Canada and Venezuela.
This shot was probably created by a bartender trying to come up with a new cheeky drink.

What is Jägermeister?
Jägermeister is a digestif herbal liqueur made in Germany.
So this shot is not only popular at the bars but after a hearty meal when one is bloated.
It’s generally sweet yet potent (35% alcohol or US 70 proof).
It is made with no less than 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices.
And in the mix, there’s citrus, anise, licorice, ginger, ginseng, and many more.
Thick and syrupy with a caramelcolor, it boasts a very distinctive herbal smell and flavor of licorice and anise.
Usually, Jägermeister is drunk on its own as shot or on the rocks.
But it can also be used in co*cktail making to create drinks like this Red Headed slu*t Shot.
What Does this Shot Taste Like?
The Red Headed slu*t Shot has a very surprising mix of flavors.
There’s licorice notes mixed with fruity and sweet and just the right amount of tartness in the end.
This, for sure, makes these shots deliciously dangerous!
